Speed beats polish
A lead contacted within five minutes is dramatically more likely to convert than one contacted after an hour. This is not new research, and yet most businesses average several hours.
If you do nothing else this quarter, cut your first response time. It is cheaper than any ad optimisation and the effect is immediate.
One call is not follow-up
Most leads are never contacted more than twice. A serious follow-up sequence is five to seven touches across call, WhatsApp and email over two weeks.
This is not about being pushy. People get busy. A polite third message is often the one that gets a reply.
Track the handoff, not just the lead
Marketing usually reports leads. Sales usually reports closures. The gap between them is where most money is lost, and nobody owns it.
Put both numbers on one dashboard. The moment leads and closures sit side by side, the conversation changes from blame to fixing the process.
